Microsoft Office: Visio immediately closes when opening a file with exception code 0xc0000409

If you experience this problem with Microsoft Visio, do the following:

1. Delete the file in your profile along the path "\<yourprofilename>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Visio\AutoRecover11.ini".

2. Open Visio and check the following box: "File->Options->Advanced->Disable Enhanced Metafile Optimization".
