ALT Linux: Installing a server from an ISO image

To install the ALT Linux OS server, download the latest available ISO image from the manufacturer's website, boot from it and follow the next steps:

Select the first point for installing ALT Linux OS:

Select the OS interface language and the keyboard shortcut to change the keyboard layout:

Confirm the license agreement:

Specify time zone, time, date, NTP server address if necessary:

Select a disk to install the system:

Partition the disk:

Please specify the components required for installation:

Wait for the installation to complete:

Specify bootloader settings:

Perform network settings:

Set a password for "root":

Create a user to log in to (eg "sa"):

Once the installation is complete, the computer will reboot:
